And with the release of Windows Media Player 10 comes the launch of the MSN Music store. The store was actually launched yesterday one day before Media player 10, which has direct support for the store, and is everything users need to buy music from it. Prices are US$0.99 per song, with albums priced at $9.90. Users can now have their music on up to 5 computers, burn any given playlist up to 7 times, and can transfer to portable devices as often as they wish. Bitrate is 160kbps on average. The store is not compatible with OS X, and ultimately requires IE for full functionality.
