It's Get Ready For Microsoft Patch Tuesday time again already, and this month's update will be the tenth anniversary of Microsoft's regular security bulletins.
As you will have read at the start of the month, October 2013 is also the tenth anniversary of Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

I don't use either. I love & prefer Avast.

Looks like there are major problems with October updates. Many people are unable to boot, others have extended update times and slow usage afterwards. Be warned. Best leave alone for a week or two.

I updated both my machines & so far no problems.(fingers crossed).
