    Today Microsoft released the Vista version of the xbox live service for beta testers. I dont have a link for a news article yet, but I got the email and I am downloading it right now. Check Google news in about 30 min.

    Cant even play games with that. Most pointless subscription ever.

    Next think you know theres going to be a subscription fee for turning on your windows computer. And maybe even opening internet explorer.

    Actually, the Vista version because they need to compete with free services, the Silver gives you everything. The only advantage to Gold is cross platform play, and there is talk that only gold will get tools like dedicated servers

    Lol, its ok. Im actually looking forward to the full non-beta because it looks really nice. While its kinda bad for microsoft to try and do this, I would like it alot more than the regular in-game GameSpy browsers.
