The original XP pro is version 2002. and that is apparently what that is, as it also states that an SP2 CD is included with the XP pro disk. and there is no way I would buy a copy of XP off Ebay.

What does it mean on the box when it says "For PC's with windows 95 or earlier, or PC's without windows."????

It means it is a full version and not an upgrade for an existing copy of 98, Me or 2000.

I can install it/overwirte it over my current XP home HD?

if you want to have the best chance of no problems it is always a good idea to do a clean install of XP.
