Hi,
I have a Midiland Mx-5 which was given to me as a gift about a year ago. I've had this problem where the subwoofer plays extremly low (almost impossible to hear) so I had everything maxed out (still almost can't hear anything) and well of course as you predicted it over heated and blew up.
So got that replaced and got the subwoofer back.
Unfortunatly my problem isn't fix. I figuired it must be software, but midiland does not update drivers for any kind of sound system. But, I didn't stop there, I have a soundblaster audigy 2, so I figuired i'd give those drivers an update, and well i've pretty much updated all the drivers that I could and I still can't get it to work.
Any kind of help will be appreciated thx. (i've also noticed that the subwoofer only plays when it's redirected, one of the settings in bass)
