Hi all,
I am hoping someone can help me with understanding what these 2 mindump files are saying. I have a thread open with the details of my issue but the basics are:
In-laws computer - Windows would not load into any mode. I ran Chkdsk and memtest (no errors memtest, ran chkdsk 2 times before errors went away).
I was able to get into safe mode, backup files, run defrag, and save minidumps.
The computer now boots normally into Windows but I have not had the time to test to see if it will crash. I am very glad its working but want to understand what the issue is/ was so I can let the in-laws know if they need a new HDD, comptuer, whatever.
Dell Dimension 4550
Windows XP Service pack 2
Pentium 4 2 Ghz
Not sure on RAM but its low (less then 1 Gb)
