Missing Font Error

Ok so i log on and get some error windows from several different programs telling me they cannot be displayed due to the fact that Tahoma and Times New Roman fonts are missing from my pc i have no idea how that happened nor how to fix it any help or input wold be greatly appreciated

What program are you using? Office? Works? WordPerfect?
Reinstall whatever it is, as the fonts are part of the program.

i was trying to use Artweaver a photo shop clone which i have used countless times lol and it has affected all programs my everything that uses Tahoma and Times New Roman are now displayed oddly or not at all.



im running vista ultimate 64 bit

As they are system fonts you should be able to get them from the internet somewhere.
But as raybay said, install any MS software, ie. the free powerpoint viewer, that should put the fonts back in there for you.

There might be a real problem, if you have some minor infestation. So be sure to scan your system for malware. Recommended are MalwareBytes, SuperAntispyware or Spy Sweeper or Spyware Doctor, and Avira Antivir or AVAST to see if there is an evildoer as the cause.
