Quick question for anyone who knows the answer, if you were to install a sound card into a system thats mobo has onboard audio, would you lose the use of the front audio headers that are on the mobo?

After doing a bunch of searching, I have come to the conclusion that while the motherboard FP audio headers will not work anymore, as long as your new sound card has the headers, you can just connect to them. So that brings me to my next question, I've read a few different review on the Chaintech av-710 and while everything sounds good, does anyone have any first hand experience with this sound card?
