Hi Fellas, I am having problems with my wifes computer, it is acting laggy and I have a bios error when I log on. My question is if my mobo is 533 fbs and my cpu is a 800 fsb will I have problems? It seemed to run fine for awhlie. However my thought was it would just run at 533fsb ok. But are they not "backwards compatable" as far as the cpu fsb is concered?

Sorry for the noob question, LOL thx guys...

That "a" error needs some elaboration. I'm sure it says more than "Error: a" there :p

It should be fine, the cpu will just down clock to 533fsb just like you said.. so maybe the problem is fsb related ;)
