I Concur
I would definately stick to ASUS (personal opinion, mind you) because of their known stability and consistantly higher performing boards regardless of what processor you are using. I am recently built a machine with an AMD Athlon64 3500+ (939) on an ASUS A8V-Deluxe for my wife and have been very pleased with its performance. I must warn you about the MSI boards using the new nForce chipset, they are KNOWN to have stablility issues when used in conjunction with the nVidia 6800GT. Personally it seems like poor planning on the part of nVidia since they are the producers of the chipset on the MSI board. Nevertheless, one could also blame MSI for the stability issues of the board... With that said, the A8V-Deluxe isn't exactly the overclockers dream board, but if you are looking for a strong, stable board - ASUS is the place to look.
My 2 cents,
