Hi
Going for my 2nd ever mobo install,
this one into a new case & new power supply.
Going ASUS P4C800-E and a P4 Northwood
Reading up on the board, I noted it might be
a good investment to make sure the power
supply voltage is stable, to avoid spikes.
I then found a main power cable that has a
large capacitor wired into it to absorb voltage
spikes.
Is this a valid concern and a worthwhile investment?
Only a few $.
Thanks!
