MOBO Testing??

how can you test if your mobo is working if my comp will not boot up...im trying to find the source of the problem?? is there any method of checking it is working in the bios setup screen cos thats about all i can get to on my comp before it stops booting up!

If XP, do you have the install disk?

xp media center 05. dont have the cd (dont remember if i have it. but may be able to get my hands on it)
