  1. I have a problem, i have recently put in a new 512Mb DDR333 RAM chip into my computer, originally it had 256MB so now i have 768Mb of DDR333 RAM unfortunately ever since i have put it in the monitor is constantly on standby so i cant see anything. I have tried taking out the new RAM and just leaving in the new RAM but still nothing. I know its not the graphics card as i replaced it with an older one just to check. I dont think it is power as i have a 500W PSU. I put the RAM in the right slot (as in larger one in the primary, smaller one in the secondary), i tried just using the new RAM, i have taken bits out of my computer to see if anything is conflicting, but still nothing. It worked with the new RAM for about 2 days and now the monitor is always on standby and i cant explain or fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
