Monitor on orange light even when computer is on

Hi, i turned my pc on and it was working fine i was on my computer as normal then the monitor decides to turn itself off and reset the machine.... everytime you turn the pc on now it's fine but the monitor goes to the green light then switches it'self to the orange light straight away it's not the monitor as i've tried it with 4 different monitors i took it to the tech guy and he said it's probably the CPU, i bought another CPU and fitted it myself however the same problem is occuring, please help i'll post some details about my pc below

Mainboard:- ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
New CPU:- AMD ATHLON 2500 AXDA2500DKV4D SOCKET A

Please help

1 x AGP Pro/8X (1.5V only)

More likely Video card fault, or Bios requires resetting

One of the Bios updates says: A7N8X-E Deluxe BIOS 1011

Fix ATI 9700 failed to boot when aperture size is changed.

But the latest (but old) Bios is: A7N8X-E Deluxe BIOS 1013

how do i reset my BIOS? can i reset?? the monitor doesnt come on..

Unplug the computer from the wall. Open the case, and remove the silver button battery on the motherboard for a minute or two and reinstall the battery. Plug in the computer and turn it on...

There's a "CLRTC1" jumper, shown in this document: (page2) http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socka/nforce2/a7n8x-e/u1322_a7n8x_e.pdf
Near the round button battery

It also has a small diagram below the words "CLRTC1" saying "Normal" and "ClearCmos" jumper position
