    Hi, i wasnt paying attention & was in START - RUN & pressed ok with configure in the box, now when i switch on my pc a box appears saying monitor out of range. anyone got any ideas as to how to fix the problem.
    im new with pcs so if u could make it as easy as possible. thanks

    Hello joed, and welcome to TechSpot :wave: ! First, does your computer show a boot screen and then go out of range, or show nothing...also make sure your monitor is plugged in correctly with the pins all straight.

    yes its got a boot screen, we checked the connection & its ok

    pc & window seem to be working as normal

    Right before you normally see the Windows splash screen, press F8 (multiple times is fine), and it will bring up a menu of a bunch of boot options. Choose VGA mode. Once you get to the desktop, change your resolution/refresh rate to something that works.
