I broke off on of the pin on the 9 pin connector on my monitor. How difficult is it to raplace the cord? Thanks.

Just as difficult as voiding the warranty and soldering 9 rather tightly placed contacts. I you have done some electronics before, then it isn't that bad, but for a first-timer it may be too much.

Not all wires are used in a video cable, did you actually break a pin that's needed?

If its still under warranty, why don't you try to change for a new one?

I doubt a broken pin is covered under the warranty.

    Figured

I have done some soldering before so I can manage it I expect. I was just sorta hoping that the internal end was terminated with some sort lug instead of soldered. Guess it is off to fry's to get a new connector. Thanks
