Monitor resolution question

  1. hey all,
i'm getting ready to jury rig a gamecube to my computer LCD (westinghouse LCM 19-v7). but i was wondering if this would work seeing that, as far as i know, gamecubes output at 640x480 and the monitor's minimum res is 800x600.
anyone think this will cause a problem? (i'll be direct connecting the cube to my monitor via the vga cable, getting the conversion cables is a different issue but i think i have a line on that)

This is just my hypothesis but I will try...When I run my computer in safe mode it runs at 640x480 on a monitor that's minimum resolution is 800x600 and it works fine. When the video drivers are in use (they usually aren't in safe mode) the lowest resolution I can apply is 800x600. I don't think it will be a problem.
