Monitor showing distorted colors

My computer normally shows the correct, colors. But when I try to play a PC game, it shows up in distorted colors. The games previously worked on this computer. I've already tried the following:

1. Update drivers
2. Get latest version of Direct X
3. Updated windows
4. Adjust screen resolution and color quality
5. Used another monitor

Is it possible that my video card is messed up, or am I doing something wrong?

I would suggest trying the graphics card in another PC and see if it has the same fault.
