Monitor went Black

  1. Linda5661 Newcomer, in training

    I was on line playing a game when all of a sudden my monitor went black and said "No Signal" I tryed another monitor and it did the same thing. Everything is plugged in. What has happened and how do I fix it???????????? Also I checked the phone line and I was still on line. The cpu seems to cycle when it is restarted

    unplug the computer for 10 secs, the plug it back in and attempt to start it. if the machine won't start up you'll need to take it to a loacl pc repair shop or have a technician look at it. some basic questions:

    what, if anything, has changed before the problem occured and at what time relevant to the failure.
