I have a sylvania f912 19" monitor and when ever i start up my comp. or play a game (on start up not in game) the screen is about 14" and kinda warped is there something in the bios that I need to change.

It sounds like it might be driver related. What video card are you using?

is there a reset on ur monitors front? im guessing its all digital...look thru the options.. sounds like when my mates messed with my monitor

cos if its when your booting (ie..in the POST screens) its not a driver issue.
