  1. Gamescom opened up to the public today, and there’s already been an avalanche of game trailers released. Following on from yesterday’s offerings - along with the Battlefield 1, Metal Gear Survive, and Resident Evil 7 videos – here are some of the latest and best clips to come from the conference.

Activision’s decision to set the 13th main installment of Call of Duty in the distant future hasn’t gone down too well with a lot of people, but the series’ much-loved zombie mode moves the setting in the opposite direction: the 80s.

The co-op survival mode features a jock, a nerd (called Poindexter), a rapper and a valley girl. Two of the decade’s most famous names will be making an appearance in the game: David Hasselhoff and Paul “Pee-Wee Herman” Reubens - not sure how many of COD's mostly teenage fanbase will know who they are, though.

They’ll be joined by Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers), Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors, Suicide Squad), Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live, Ride Along) and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer).

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided arrives next week. The game has had its fair share of both hype and controversy since it was announced, but early hands-on impressions suggest it’ll be worth the wait. Here’s the launch trailer.

We got the disappointing news earlier this week that Titanfall 2’s multiplay beta would only be available on consoles, but it will still launch on the PC this October 28. Check out the awesome-looking multiplayer gameplay trailer below.

Open world action-adventure hackathon Watch Dogs 2 is one of my most anticipated games of this year. This new clip shows its online multiplayer element - both co-op and PVP – and it seems to integrate this mode into the single-player campaign. Lets hope the finished product is as good as the trailers make out.

We’ve already seen the Nosulus Rift headset for the South Park: The Fractured but Whole game. Now, Gamescom has brought a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming RPG, and it looks sweet, dude.

If you’re rapidly approaching 40 like me, then you may have enjoyed the first Tekken game back on the original PlayStation in 1995. Over two decades later, the seventh entry in the series is on its way – and it’s coming to the PC as well. Here’s some gameplay footage of Lee Chaolan and Violet.
