Motherboard mounting question

Hi,
Question from a noob- I am going to have to mount my first mobo soon. Can anyone tell me how to? My case manual says 'fix the standoff to the case, and then fix the motherboard on top.' Is there spacers involved? Does it have to go something like:

Screw
Spacer
Mobo
Spacer
Standoff?

The screws and standoff should comes with the case. If it don't, you can make a quick trip to computer store and buy somes. There is no spacer in any computer parts.

Mobo and the I/O Shield comes with the separated box.
