I have problems with my asus p5wd2 motherboard :

It makes a big noise when i turn on the computer after he has stand some times off .

Example: I turn on the computer in the morning (during the night was off) and the noise comes up. Then to remove this noise the only way for me is to turn off the comp and wait 2 minutes than turn it on and there is no more noise.

This always happen after the comp has been off for some time for more than 1 hour.

I opened the pc and noticed that the motherboard does this. (it seems that the thing that rotates on the proccessor makes that noise i dont know how to say it in english.)

Hi
the bearings on the fan* have gone dry. You need to put on a new fan.
If you are in a hot country, do this very quickly!

* - thing that rotates on the processor

hey there.... if u do not do this quickly, you will not only damage your motherboard but your processor as well.... your processor could even burn out depending on what you're doing on the computer.

You CPU cooler is kicking the bucket. The bearings are probably going bad. Replace the fan - they're cheap.
