Motherboard OEM replacement? or Aftermarket? So confused..

Hey guys, so I have an HP Pavilion a1477c. There's something wrong with my motherboard and before I go out and get a new one, I was wondering, should I get a direct replacement motherboard from HP? or should I get an aftermarket motherboard? I'm not sure what I should do. I don't want to over pay for an HP motherboard if there are other (better) options out there for me. Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance!

I'd find out if it is even available from HP and how much it costs before deciding. Good socket 939 motherboards are getting harder to find these days, aftermarket or otherwise, since 939 processors were discontinued awhile ago.
