Go to 'www.EVGA.com' and check with them. Personally I do not know.

  4. there is no such thing as a PCI-express 2.0 slot. there is only pci-express 16x. HOWEVER, pcie 2.0 fits the pcie 16x slot. it will work just fine. no need to find a new motherboard. you won't find one.

o ok thanks, cause i saw that some newer evga video cards have pci-express 2.0 so i did not know if you needed a new mobo. so everything will work fne? Thanks
  6. yeah i had the exact same scare, so i looked some things up and figured it out. it would be nice if they mentioned "hey, this new video card is in pcie 2.0, but it will still fit your 16x slot."

but of COURSE they didn't. because that would be convenient and explanatory for us n00bs....whatever. point is, it will work. and good luck with the GT or the 3870 whichever it happens to be that you're buying ;).
