  1. Hiya

I made a post in one fo the other sub-forums here and received a recommended build which included the GA-MA770T-UD3P motherboard: http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=024342&cid=MB.486

I'm wondering of these RAM modules would be compatible with that motherboard. http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=017450&cid=RAM.346.983

I see that the mobo uses DDR3, whcih is fine, but I've heard that there can be incompatibilities between certain manufacturers. Would that be a problem in this situation?

    Thanks!

You should be fine, the memory incompatibilities only apply to Core i7 processors!

Gigabyte mobos do not have issues with RAM. Only ASUS ones do (AFAIK), particularly with OCZ kits.

All X58 boards have RAM issues with modules with a voltage over 1.65v, regardless of brand, its an Intel fault.
