motherboard with an onboard video card on it problem

  1. I recently put a new motherboard in a computer with a onboard video card on it and it won't send a signal to the monitor. i need some help with this pls?

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    Please list the system specs (mobo, cpu, ram, hdd, power supply etc).

    First things to check:
    1. Did you connect 2 cables to your motherboard? Both the 20/24 pin and the ATX12v?
    2. Is the ram/cpu compatible with your new board?
    3. Did you use the standoff pins under your motherboard to separate it from your case?
