Motorola’s upcoming Droid Turbo has been exposed. The smartphone will indeed ship with the rumored 5.2-inch “ultra high-definition” display (more than likely QHD) and a sizable 21-megapixel rear camera with dual flashes if information found in this 69-page user guide (PDF) is to be believed.

Of notable interest are the capacitive navigation buttons that sit below the screen, a high-capacity long lasting battery, Qi wireless charging and support for Motorola’s Turbo Charger ($35 cable included). The latter promises to give phones up to eight additional hours of battery life in just 15 minutes, albeit under a very specific set of circumstances.

Much like the Droid Maxx from last year, Motorola has hidden the SIM card tray beneath the volume buttons. While the manual does mention the front-facing camera, its megapixel count unfortunately isn’t listed.

What’s more, the handset’s internal hardware (processor, RAM, storage, etc.) aren’t detailed in the guide. Some of Motorola’s top features, however, like Moto Voice, Moto Actions and Moto Assist appear to be along for the ride.

No word yet on an official unveiling although most seem to believe the handset will make its debut sometime this month. Screenshots in the manual carry a date of October 12 but considering that’s a Sunday, it wouldn’t make much sense to unveil the phone on that date unless for some silly reason, Motorola and Verizon are planning a quiet launch.

I still want a Droid 5 with slide out QWERTY keyboard. Even better would be a IP68 rated one! Com'on Motorola some of us still like a physical keyboard!

Then buy a blackberry.

Keyboards will never make it back into flagship phones. They just don't sell.
