I have a gigabyte GA-K8VM800M motherboard. Yesterday I booted up my computer and when I got to the log in screen the mouse would not respond, it is a ps2. Tried another mouse,USB, and that didn't work. Restarted again and tried to use my start up disk and noticed that the keyboard isn't working either. Talked to a tech at a local computer hardware store and he said reset the bios. Didi that now I am really screwed because I need the keyboard to enter bios setup. HELP!

You could try to clear the CMOS which is done by the jumpers on your motherboard. Refer to the manual.

or you could just take out your bios battery wich is located on your motherboard
