Mouse Sensitivity Tweaker??

  1. Are they're any programs (freeware preferred but not required) that will allow me to tweak my mouse's sensitivity?

I recently had a Microsoft Blue laser mouse, 800dpi and its seen a lot of use, and the buttons don't work so well anymore.
So I bought a Optorite ML100 laser mouse, 1600dpi and this is just way too fast, and I would like to adjust its sensitivity if possible. Just barely nudging this mouse and the pointer jumps like 2"-4" or so across my screen.

Go to your control panel and double click on the mouse icon. Click on the pointer options tab and adjust the speed in the motion box. Click apply/ok.

    Regards Howard :)
