I too found problems with Mozilla Firefox today.
    I had a SSL error!!

    Googling I found ... xxtp://kb.mozillazine.org/Could_not_initialize_the_browser_security_component

I read to delete cert8.db in application data/mozilla firefox ...
After deleting it went up and was happily ready to go again.

And was very much helped with it. I hope I will be the same for you.

We, too, had serious errors, including blue screens of death, on all our office machines immediately upon downloading Firefox 2.0.0.11. It took us quite a while to figger out what it was. We deleted the install, and everything related to Firefox in the registry, then installed Firefox 2.0.0.8 and all is now fine.

What information? A question can hardly be considered 'information'.

We can conjecture that Mozilla has some problems with SSL connectivity,
    but going beyond that .....

Any chance we can get the details, please?
