  4. I go worried for a moment until I saw it was an optional tool bar. (whew) I can still opt out of unsocial media.

  6. If only chrome had actual NoScript.....
    It's the one reason I keep using firefox over it.
  7. Optional? I didn't see an 'opt-out' when update FF and I can't see the option to turn it off.
  8. This would have been a great idea 3 years ago. But since then, I rarely message anyone on Facebook anymore and I don't care for the new versions of firefox.
  9. It should be disabled by default. if not, it can be turned off this way:
    1. Type about:config into the url-bar.
    2. Be careful.
    3. Set social.enabled to false.
    4. Restart.

    If I want to use facebook,I will go to facebook. However I dont want to be reminded of it outside of facebook, even in chat. Its bad enough that half the websites I visit are like LIKE US ON FACEBOOK.
