MP3 Player corrupt

My mp3 player is the detachable usb that can plug into the comp.....I was loading music into it when my computer froze...now when i try to play my mp3 player the name just stays frozen on the screen but if i plug it back into the computer it reads....I tried deleting all the folders from the player but one of the folder gives a message saying it can't be deleted because the directory is not empty ...the music files in my player are corrupt from what I can tell so can anyone tell me how to delete corrupt files so I have a chance at saving my mp3...please

What is the make and model of your MP3 player?

and please change the title of your post from "I"m Begging For Help" to something like "MP3 Player Corrupt"

Plug in the player and try right clicking on the icon for the MP3 player in my computer and formatting it. I had problems with mine once and I formatted it. That got rid of any bad files. I then went through the MP3 player menus and found a reset function.
