MS Outlook 2003 Tsunami!

    Greetings. Can anyone assist me with an Outlook 2003 nightmare.
    Have been running Outlook without problems for months buy yesterday it started dumping old mails into my inbox as if they were unread and just received. These mails are up to 18 months old so assume its dumping from an archive for some reason. They are definitely not coming in from my POP server. I keep that pretty well flushed out.

    Can anyone assist please?

    did you turn off AutoArchive?

    Not really. I did find that the problem was due to an old pop email account.
