Msconfig Problem

hey you guys, I am trying to access Msconfig so i uncheck some of the start up programs on my system so it loads faster. However, when i go under start run and type in msconfig i get a message saying " Windows cannot find msconfig. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I know i've typed it in correctly because i've tried it a thousand times. If anyone knows what's wrong please post, thank you.

Is msconfig missing?

It's unlikely to be missing entirely, but will not be accessible if you dont have the necessary permissions. You would need to have administrative rights on XP, Win2K or NT. What is your operating system?

We try to be helpful, but are not mind-readers (yet)

msconfig is not present on Windows 2000 so you have to download it separately as howard suggested.
