MSExchange Server NEtBIOS issues

    When I disable NETBIOS on the Exchange Server, the service stops working accross the network, Any Suggestions or helpfull comments. I am very new to Exchange and would appricate any comments or suggestions. I have recently upgraded the Domain Controller to Server 2003 and all the services (including Exchange) run from the same box.

    Does exchange have NETBIOS dependencies??

    Netbios uses WINS to resolve name information, if your Exchange server is your WINS server and you disable Netbios on it, then none of the clients on your network will be able to resolve netbios names.
