MSN messenger dropped messages

    i'm having issues with MSN messenger. aobut one in 5 of the messages i'm sending don't make it to my friends, so i end up having really screwed up conversations... it's rather frustrating. additionally, i can't send files to them, and only about half of my webcam invites, and game invites make it to them... i'm running win XP, "Shaw Secure" antivurus, windows live messenger 8.0, and i'm running through a D-Link DI-604 broadband router... any help woul dbe super appreciated. thanks
