mtrRate error

  1. I keep getting system crashes. The system error logs reports mtrRate service failed to start and/or cannot find file specified. I have tracked this to quicken. I have quicken 2004. This has only started recenty and Quicken has worked for over a year with no problems. Are there any solutions? I have XP pro.

    Hello Tedster.

    First thing to try is uninstalling, and reinstalling the software.

    interesting...but fortunately I'm an American and quicken's pullout from the UK won't affect me.... I did reinstall it and for at least a few hours I haven't had any crashes.... I can't figure out how the mrtrate file got corrupted....

    I'm puzzled why Quicken is departing the UK?

    Euro's getting too expensive?
