multi media audio controller trouvble

  1. Hello, well my problem has braught me to this board, ive done alot of reading here and its a good site, i like it, anyhoo, to my problem
    ive got no sound, says multimedia audio contoller not installed, i just re installed windows and it was working, so i know it works ok, ive tried the suggeestred realtek ac97 software from the guy who made the comp, but that didnt work either, i have everest and tried the mobo websited but nothing there.
    heres the info

    Take a look HERE .

    You will also need to install all the chipset drivers as well.

    i tried that, it freezes at 94 percent, then my new hardware detected pops up but it cant find the necessary software to install hardware

    and where would i find the chipset drivers??

    You can find the chipset drivers HERE

    Try installing the chipset drivers first, followed by the sound drivers.

    no luck, c media still freezed at 94 percent :( the chipset drivers seemed to install fine though

    Uninstall anything to do with c-media from add remove programmes, and reboot your computer.

    Then try updating Windows. What version of Windows are you running?

    Sometimes windows will find a driver for you.
