hello all i have just changed the hard drive in my comp and everthing is fine except no sound !
i have a packard bell spirit
i have done a belarc scan

Do you mean to say you took a hard drive from a different computer and threw it in? Thats a bad idea. If you didn't, how exactly did you change the hard drive?

no the old one broke and i bought a new one ! i then put it in and did a full intsall !
