    Hello,

My 6800GT's temp reads: 52C (GPU) at idle, i was wondering if my sensor was innaccurate or my card is just running hot.

It sits in a Tsunami Dream, with a Zalman heatsink on it as well as ramsinks and an extra 80mm fan underneath.

Why should my card be so hot? does it matter if it gets hot? Its never artifacted.

    Any knowledge is appriciated,

    Alex

GPUs run a lot hotter than CPUs and chipsets. That temp is actually very good for a 6800GT, and nothing to worry about.

    Cheers!
