My Computer dosnt beep

Hi,

When i turn on my computer i dont get a beep but win loads fine. I was told my computer should beep 1 to tell me everything is ok. I know the PC speaker works i hear it when my bro plays old old games that use it. so should it beep and if so how do i get it to beep?

My computer does not beep. I am almost positive that it doesn't have to beep. Usually the computer beeps if there is a problem or some just beep if there is a speaker on the motherboard.

Check the date on the original post. I'm sure the issue has been resolved by now. Anyway, there WILL be a post beep when booting up. Should only hear one beep, which means everything checks out okay.
