My computer has no sound, and it isn't the speakers causing the problem

    :mad: All of a sudden my computer has no sound. I didn't do anything or change anything. I checked the speakers with my cd player and they work...so i dont know whats is wrong with my sound. I reinstalled the Avance AC'97 driver and it did nothing to help. Please tell me what to do now. Thank you!
