My computer is rediculously slow... hijack this log

Hey guys,
my computer is running really, really slow. to the point that it is difficult to do anything. furthermore, I downloaded a movie that won't delete because 'it is being used by another program,' and I think it may have something to do with this. attached is my hijack this report. also, I'd like to get rid of anything that I really don't need. thanks in advance.

You can also turn off indexing.

thank you so much... but i am new to this and still have some questions. what is indexing and how do i turn it off? also, i'm using shareaza. i've read it is free of malware; is it alright to keep it running? i attached my new hijack this log, just to double check. thanks again.

In the Run box type services.msc
On the right hand side go down to Indexing Service
Right click Properties
Click the Stop button
and change the 'Startup type' to Disabled.

I don't shareza and so will leave others to comment.

The only (cosmetic) change required is 'fixing' this with HJT:
O23 - Service: CWShredder Service - Unknown owner - C:\Documents and Settings\shreyas\Desktop\CWShredder.exe (file missing)

Your PCs sluggishness is due to (bet you guessed it already) the crappy bloatware from Norton/Symantec. They alone account for at least 50% of your system resources.
Dump it, and get some free, light-weight but very powerful, stuff:
