My computer keeps rebooting itself! I can't even log onto it! The only way to get on it is in safe mode. I have recently installed a program and after that is when it started doing this. I tried to unistall the program in safe mode, but it wouldn't let me. The program happens to be norton 2007. I have heard that this is a possible worm. Can anyone help me? any thoughts on what I should do? Right now, I am using my husband's mac, its an older mac. thanks in advance.

Try running a virus scan, you can get some free stuff from AVG or a number of other compaines.

my computer has also given me this error message: A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The problem seems to be caused by the following file: fltmgr.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software ask the manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly instsalled hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. then it had a series of numbers and then it said begin of physical memory dump physical memory dump complete.

You have to be careful with Norton installs - you shouldn't have any other programs especially antivirus running.
