My computer refuses to recognize any USB mass storage

I just bought a SanDisk Cruzer Glide 32G flashdrive and a PNY 8G, and when I plugged it in it shows it as a USB but it cannot get the driver software or anything. I'm running Windows Vista Premium

Description:
Windows detected a new device attached to your computer, but could not find the driver software it needs to make the device usable.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: PnPDriverNotFound
Architecture: x64
Hardware Id: STORAGE\Volume
OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Any help would be awesome. All I'm trying to do is make one of the USB's a boot drive.

Most removal media comes driver preinstalled and will automatically installs on the system as soon as you connect the storage media. See if you've any driver CD comes with your USB.

Otherwise, you'll have to look on the manufacturer website to download and install drivers manually.

Hope it may helps!!

1. Check if your USB Mass Storage driver is corrupt. See HERE
2. Are these U3 drives? If so, check out the CD/DVD drivers too per that post

Let me know and can take it from there
