My computer restart by itself

  1. My computer restarts by itself. I am using windows xp prof. spk2. I have tried a couple of searching on internet but I could not find a solution.
Restarting does not happen very frequently but it is very annoying because I am in the middle of something and it suddenly goes off and restarts again.

I have turned off the 'automatically restart' option and I got the blue screen displaying this message:

    Technical info:
    Stop: 0X0000008E (0X00000005, 0XBF8384BA,0XB548A764,0X00000000)

    *** win32k.sys - address BF8384BA base at BF800000, Datestamp 43446A58

Once the computer has restarted and I have logged on I would get a pop up from Microsfot windows saying that there was a serious error and this is the information collected:

    Error signature:
    BCCode : 100000d4 BCP1 : 0000000F BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000000
    BCP4 : 804EC08B OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Technical Information about the error report:

Can anyone help me with this problem?

    Thank you in advance

go to that folder and if you've got a few of them, zip up 5-6 of the most recent ones and post them as a .zip here.
