My Computer turns off when I install OS

I formatted my hard disk to install new copy of OS. When the OS loads installation files my computer shuts down.. what is the problem? Is it a hardware issue?

i don't think so because there is power..

Computer power supplies have several separate voltage outputs. If just one of these drop out, it can cause a computer to shut down for no reason. Why are you reinstalling the operating system?

Corrupted Windows files and virus..I've tried repairing the installation but it doesn't work. Tried recovery console..

have you tested your psu with a tester tool and multimeter under load?

This might indicate a bad hard drive too
