My DVD stalling

I have a movie (slide show with photos and video) that I'm trying to burn to DVD. It goes through many steps (transcoding video, transcoding audio, etc), and then it stalls out when it show "planning video" (or maybe it's "planning move"). This is a final version of a movie I was able to burn in draft form. The movie plays through with no problem on my computer. Any thoughts why it can't finish burning as a DVD? Is it the software or the file?

Most likely the software.. What are you using?

I'm using Sonic MyDVD to burn the DVD. The file is a Windows Audio/video file created in Micrsoft Movie Maker.

    Any help is much appreciated!

I have had problems with Microsoft Movie Maker files also. That program only works (most of the time) if you do the complete edit and burn with WMM. Have you tried capturing and editing the movie with Sonic? That would work much better. Movie Maker is just very buggy even version 2. Or just do the complete edit and burn with WMM.

I should also add that I'm able to burn other files just not this one. The file is 318kb, so the DVD has plenty of room.

I don't know what else to try. Sorry. Try opening the movie file in WMM and resave it and try Sonic again.
