I'm having a problem with a computer I'm working on and just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the exact problem is and how to fix it...
Ran hijackthis and cleared out everything that wasn't essential.
Ran pc through Memtest and passing multiple tests without error
Gave the computer a standard spyware and virus check with nothing serious.
ok... the problem
The computer will intermittantly reboot itself / BSOD
I've attached a handfull of minidumps centred around the problem - looks like it could be pointing to atapi.sys
Bugcheck Analysis:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
